Not all Internet Companies offer High End Sales

If you are thinking of joining the Internet sales revolution, you need more than just apple pie wishes and mulberry dreams.  A solid business plan, a company that promotes high end sales and an understanding of the differences between Internet marketing and real world marketing are essential.

Not all Markets have been Hit
It is an old adage that contains a lot of truth.  Even in tough times most of the rich stay rich, and those of us with somewhat more limited income suffer.  As a result, while the middle class might be hurting and not spending money like it did just a few years ago, the rich continue to acquire their usual toys.

Yacht Sales
Did you know that yacht sales continue to rise?  The current economic climate hasn’t done a thing to shut down this industry; in fact, sales of both standard and mega-yachts have increased in 5 of the last 6 years by up to 25%.  If you are looking for a profitable niche, there is one staring you in the face.

As is the case in many of the high end markets, you don’t have to sell a lot to earn a lot.  The commission on an item that runs $100K is significant.  This is no MLM scheme where you might make a few cents, or at best a few dollars, each time you sell a bottle of miracle cure.

Prestige Car Sales
Another niche market that continues to do well is that of high end cars.  China is experiencing a tremendous boom in the automobile market, and the rich want fancy cars to symbolize their prosperity.  In fact, even in the face of global recession China continues to post moderate gains in all economic areas.  Prestige auto sales are currently increasing by 20% per year and are expected to top 10% increases in the next 5 years as well.

Going International
One of the biggest advantages that the Internet offers is global access.  You don’t actually have to live in a particular country to access its markets.  While China, for example, does have some of the strictest import laws, it is still possible to enter the marketplace.

Of course, China is not the only international market that exists online.  Even if selling cars isn’t your thing, keeping on top of the accessories that are cultural status symbols is a way into the market with less risk and fewer government entanglements.

Advantages of High End Products
There are many high end products that you can choose to sell online.  With information being the hottest commodity right now, think about what you know how to do that others might not, and figure out if they are willing to pay for that expertise or for a package that provides them with shortcuts around their deficiencies.

For example, successfully marketing a new business is a real skill.  In fact, most new businesses fail because they don’t market themselves well.  Can you write out a multi-step program of what new entrepreneurs can do to market their business?  Believe me; they will pay for that willingly.

Now, how is that an advantage?  If priced correctly, a high end product that sells well will bring in much more than a low end product.  What would you rather do?  Go out and find one lead a day who is willing to invest in your product or have to find 40 leads a day to do the same thing.  If you are earning the same amount of money for both those scenarios, I think there is little question.
